Have you ever felt shunned? Like an outsider? Like you weren’t fully accepted? Have you felt ashamed or unworthy? Have you felt like you couldn’t be loved? Have you felt that if people really knew what you’ve done in the past that they would reject you? Have you ever felt like you were born into the wrong family?

You may not know this, but you were born into the MOST prestigious family. The moment of your creation, you were called to embrace your special role as a son or daughter and as a brother or sister. This royal family is full of unconditional love and respect. It is a family ready to forgive and embrace you. And the Father of this family can grant you your heart’s desire with His love.

This Father’s love is so intense for us that it flows throughout the universe, stronger than any other force. If we believe that even a “crumb” or “mustard seed” of this Father’s love can save us — if we have that kind of belief — miracles will happen in our lives. Even though we are undeserving, He wants us to go to Him. But we can’t demand this love. We must be humble and admit our failings and believe love is possible. Then our prayers will be answered.

“A Canaanite woman from that region came out and cried, ‘Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely possessed by a demon.’ But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and begged him, saying, ‘Send her away, for she is crying after us.’ He answered, ‘I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.’ But she came and knelt before him, saying, ‘Lord, help me.’ And he answered, ‘It is not fair to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.’ She said, ‘Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the scraps that fall from their masters’ table.’ Then Jesus answered her, ‘O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.’ And her daughter was healed instantly.”
